Cathy S. Thomas, 57 of Toledo, OH, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Born September 3, 1956 in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Willace and Marylin (Whitenburg) Burkholder. A 1974 graduate of Bedford High School, she married Stanley “Skip” Thomas on August 30, 1975. Cathy enjoyed visiting the casinos, camping, bingo, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Skip. Children, Candy (David) Sondergeld and J.R. Thomas. Grandson, Tyler Thomas. Brother, Terry (Terry) Burkholder. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Burkholder.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
